Severed Heads

Severed Heads was a foundational early industrial band from Sydney, Australia. Rather than adhering strictly to the conventions of industrial music, Severed Heads expanded creatively in all directions; Injecting` their mastery of industrial ideas into a wealth of different genres to create a truly unique and distinctive sound.

Releasing over a dozen full-length albums since their formation in 1979, Severed Heads seemed to draw from an infinite wellspring of creativity. They managed the impossible task of consistently staying ahead of the curve over the course of decades, with early material, like 1988's Rotund For Success sounding as fresh as ever almost 30 years later.
